The Theosophical Society was formed in 1875 to promote an understanding of Esoteric Teachings. These teachings, sometimes called 'The Ageless Wisdom', which was previously only available to initiates in Secret Orders has found expression down the ages in philosophies, sciences, mysticism, religions and the arts.
The Three objectives of the society:
To form a nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste or colour.
To encourage the study of Comparative Religion, Philosophy and Science.
To investigate unexplained laws of Nature and the powers latent in man.
